Fees and Pricing
The Herges Capital Distinction
We are highly cost-efficient. Every dollar not
spent on third-party fees is profit for the client.
Fund Fees?
Herges Capital does not purchase mutual funds. Even low-cost index ETFs are avoided. Instead, if feasible, we compose a diversified stock portfolio out of carefully-selected individual stocks. That results in substantially more work for your trusted investment advisor but leads to zero fund fees for clients. Subsequent benefits are even more rewarding: Highly-efficient tax-loss harvesting, receiving dividends immediately and continuously throughout the year plus the ability to apply ethical principles.
Trading Cost
Herges Capital actively aims to save trading cost for clients. The portfolio turnover rate is kept low. In contrast, brokers depend on commissions, therefore profiting directly from trade activities.
HERGES CAPITAL’S TOTAL FEES ARE WELL BELOW THE FINANCIAL INDUSTRY’S AVERAGE. AND THE ADDITIONAL FAVORABLE TAX CONSEQUENCES ARE NOT EVEN CONSIDERED.

Often an initial step for investors is to trustfully forward their latest broker’s statement for us to comment on. Common are also requests to recommend funds out of a 401k program. In both cases fees and sufficient diversification guides our reply.
